MyShiftLink

FAQs for Drivers

MyShiftLink is a platform that connects drivers with flexible, short-term, and on-demand
shift opportunities from local businesses such as restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and more.

2. How do I sign up as a driver?

Simply download the MyShiftLink app or register on our website. You’ll need to provide basic information, proof of ID, right to work in the UK, and your driving licence (if applicable).

You can find delivery shifts, courier jobs, and local transportation opportunities. More shift types will be added as the platform expands into other sectors like logistics and event driving.

4. Do I need my own vehicle?

It depends on the shift. Some businesses provide vehicles, while others require drivers to use their own. Each job listing will clearly mention this.

Yes, it’s completely free for drivers to sign up, search for shifts, and apply.

6. How and when do I get paid?

Payments are made directly by the business to the driver. MyShiftLink is not involved in payments between parties. Always confirm payment terms before accepting a shift.

7. Can I choose when and where I want to work?

Yes! You’re in full control. You can filter shifts by location, date, and availability.

8. How do I know a business is genuine?

All businesses registered on MyShiftLink go through a verification process, including Companies House checks or manual ID verification for sole traders.

9. Can I decline or cancel a shift?

Yes, but frequent cancellations may affect your profile rating and your ability to access future shifts. Always cancel with sufficient notice when possible.

10. Is there a referral programme for drivers?

Yes! You can invite other drivers and earn rewards when they complete their first shift. Details are available in the app.
